Welcome to the PJ2AMR Shack on the web

I have been a licensed Ham Radio Operator since 1993 with QTH in Curaçao, Netherlands Antilles. I am more of a seasonal operator jumping on the rig during Hurricane seasons and other interesting events. The local Ham Radio Club is the VERONA. Visit the club site for more information on the HAM activities in the area.

My callsign is PJ2AMR. PJ2 prefix is for all the HAM's based in Curaçao and I was able to choose my own suffix AMR. Most people asked me why I did not go with PJ2AK (for Anthmar Kranwinkel), well the phonetics of AMR are closer to my first name i.e. AMR, AahMmhRR, anthmar....   so I will react quickly.
